APOA Proud to Host Caprock ROTC

The Caprock High School Marine Corps JROTC presented the colors and led our members in the pledge of allegiance at the April 27th APOA member meeting.  There are 65 students working through a Marine Corp program every day at Caprock HS.  They all have different assignments within their team, and the armed drill team just returned from Washington, D.C., where they placed second in the nation in a drill team competition.  Congratulations guys!  We also learned that the APOA executive board has a Caprock Marine Corps JROTC alum in its' ranks.  Off. Susan Dorris admits that her time spent on the drill team was a few decades ago - but had a lot of great memories from her experience there.  Thanks for taking the time to visit the APOA guys!
